Typical price ranges in Pakistan (2026)

These are guide ranges for a standard version of each project, based on the projects we deliver. Your final price depends on your features, users and design.

ProjectTypical price (PKR)Typical timeBusiness website (5–15 pages)60,000 – 1.5 lakh2–4 weeksOnline store (e-commerce)1.5 – 4 lakh4–8 weeksWeb portal or custom system4 – 12 lakh8–16 weeksMobile app (Android and iPhone)5 – 15 lakh8–16 weeksReady-made software setup (school, hospital, POS, HR)1.5 – 6 lakh2–6 weeksFull ERP for a company8 – 25 lakh12–24 weeks

Hosting, domains and yearly support are usually quoted separately. Ask every vendor to list them, so you can compare like with like.

What makes a project cost more

  • Number of features: user accounts, online payments, dashboards and reports each add design, development and testing time.
  • Integrations: connecting to FBR, biometric devices, banks or your existing software is often the most complex part of a project.
  • Number of users and branches: more users and several locations need stronger permissions, reporting and hosting.
  • Custom design: a fully custom brand experience costs more than a clean standard design.
  • Platforms: an app for both Android and iPhone costs more than a website alone.
  • Urdu and English: a second language means translated screens, reports and messages.

Ready-made product or custom software?

If a proven product already does most of what you need, setting it up is usually much cheaper and faster than building from scratch. For example, a school can start on Smart School ERP within weeks, and a shop can run on inventory and POS software almost immediately. Choose custom software development when your process is genuinely different from everyone else's, or when the software itself is your product.

How to get an accurate quote

  1. Write a one-page brief: the problem, who will use the system, how many users and branches, and the reports you need.
  2. List must-have features separately from nice-to-have ones, so the first version stays affordable.
  3. Ask for a fixed quotation that lists modules, training, hosting and support.
  4. Agree on milestones: paying in stages against working software protects both sides.
  5. Ask what changes would cost after launch, because almost every project grows once people use it.

Be careful with very low quotes A quote far below the ranges above usually leaves something out: testing, training, data migration, hosting or support. Ask exactly what is included before you compare prices.
