Overview

To support the integration of the newly merged tribal districts into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s governance system, the Local Government Department KP, in collaboration with IT Artificer, launched a public awareness platform available via iOS and web. This project aims to educate citizens about their legal rights, access to services, and their role in a modern civic structure—using accessible digital tools including audio narration, multilingual content, and offline access.

The project involved the creation of a fully functional iOS application alongside a responsive website—together forming an inclusive, informative, and intuitive digital solution:

• Citizen Rights Awareness Modules:
  The app provides structured, easy-to-understand content on citizenship rights, service access, and governance reforms introduced after the merger of FATA with KP.
• Audio Learning Features:
  Audio playback in Pashto and Urdu ensures that even non-literate citizens can benefit from the information, making the app highly inclusive.
• iOS Mobile Application (Swift):
  A lightweight and responsive app built natively for iPhones and iPads, with smooth navigation, offline access options, and secure syncing with the central content system.
• Web Companion Portal:
  Developed to reflect the same content as the app, the website ensures access across all devices and for communities with shared or public desktop access.

  Content is available in Urdu, Pashto, and English, ensuring broad accessibility for diverse communities within KP.
